NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD NEIGHBORS TO COME TO THE AID OF THEIR ASSOCIATION!!!!!!
It's that time of year, folks. Your 2007 dues are now due and payable. Never has the Association been in greater need of funds than it is right now. You know why you need the Association to survive. Think back and remember the crack houses and dope dens that have been run out of Colonial Hills, the number of rundown homes and yards that have been reported to the Association and cited, the water tower fight, the Wal-Mart fight and the list goes on.

I
apologize for missing October meeting, and November as well, due to my injury
& hospitalization. But I do wish you all a Merry Christmas and a festive
New Year. I also want to thank you for your prayers, cards and visits.

I’m
glad we got a president’s message this month. Earl wrote it from Helen Ellis
hospital. He was due to come home the 11th of November, but
unfortunately some complications happened and as I write this, he is still
there. Cards, prayers and visits help earl a lot, but getting home is what he
wants. Let’s hope by the time you read this, he will be home.
I hope you have noticed the chart in the
clubhouse under the picture of the building. It relates to the campaign for the
roof and air conditioning. Both are running on borrowed...

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SOUP AND SALAD CARD PARTY AND LUNCHEON
Although the number of tables was disappointing, the enthusiasm and generosity of the guests was most gratifying. The coffers of the Colonial Hills Civic Association received the profit of $332.00. The ladies who helped prepare the food, set the tables, serve the food and then clean up are owed a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you all. Thanks also to Sandy Bennett of Talk of the Town Beauty Salon who contributed...

The September boutique was very profitable. Even though the
attendance was down, the sales were brisk. Christmas is next month and we
are urging all our readers to help our holiday sales by contributing their
creations to us for sale. All of you know how great the need is and
how important it is for you to do your part to keep this the kind of community
in which to live and raise a family. You can drop off items at any club
function such as bingo, meetings, pancake breakfast, etc. Or you can call
Phyllis at 938 5215 for items to be picked up.
