We wish that everyone going to visit relations has a relaxing, good time. I hope you all come back in September ready for an active year of association activities.
Remember we try to help our community and country become a better place to live and be proud to let others see what we can accomplish with good fellowship and hard work.

This Civic Association was started to provide a meeting place for members to gather and discuss items relative to a growing neighborhood, and also aid Pasco County in growing into a county we can be proud to be a part of for many years.
Think of when our parents and grandparents came to this country. They built a beautiful country. We can do this again and build an even better society. It's our destiny, let's all try and you will enjoy the effort. Please try. We change America to a better place. April 14th we will have a pot luck dinner. Bring a dish for four and your serving ware. All of Colonial Hills is invited.
Earl Scheel,
President

We have just finished the first months meeting of our club. Many issues were discussed. This club is not disbanding. We need to move forward to help solve some of our County problems. To do this we need volunteer help in our club and new members with new ideas as to how we can accomplish our aims and goals.
This past month our finances were more than adequate, but looking at the attendance at the various affairs, very few club members show up, this is sad.
When you join the club and attend our events everyone in the community...

This is the Easter season. This is a very good time to remember our part, and hope that the aims of our forefathers survive for furture generations.
The speaker for April will give us a better understanding of Reverse Mortgages, and some facts on investing for the future. Bring a friend with you for the meeting.
We are trying to raise money for needed repairs. So the board is going to have meetings on the 23rd and the 30th of March to consider bank financing. If we are successful in finding funds, we will have to stay open all summer and have activities. This means we need volunteers. This is also tax season, and a good donation to the club will be appreciated and could be tax deductible.
Our pancake breakfast now has regular pancakes, blueberry pancakes, plus sausage gravy and biscuits - your choice, and very delicious. Bring friends.

President

The groudhog didn't see his shadow, so spring is just around the corner. Our blueberry pancake breakfast went well, but we would like to have more patrons.
We still need more support for our roof and air conditioning replacement and other needed items. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation.

 Here Come The Snowbirds!
The snow birds are back and things are starting to get
hectic. All our hours for pancake breakfasts and spaghetti dinners will be
according to the information on the signs. We will not be closing down early,
or running later. Hopefully this year will be a very successful one.
We have a campaign going for a new roof and other
needed repairs such as air conditioning. Please put donations, large and small,
in the boxes...

I
apologize for missing October meeting, and November as well, due to my injury
& hospitalization. But I do wish you all a Merry Christmas and a festive
New Year. I also want to thank you for your prayers, cards and visits.
Many
things have happened at this club. We have two new maintenance people who have
taken over setups and lawn care as well as cleaning. When you pass the
clubhouse look at the new appearance.
Should you be in the area and the clubhouse is open,
look at our bathroom changes as well as the over all appearance of the...

Unfortunately we do not have a message from
President Earl Scheel this month. He is still in rehabilation at Helen Ellis
Hospital as we go to press. He was in intensive care followed by a stay in a
“regular” room. He had severe knee injury due to a nasty fall at home. We plan
on his column returning in December.

During our September meeting we listened to a pich for more activities. Colonial Hills has to be a community for all people, young, middle aged and retirees. This can only be realized by co-operation and a glad hand. We are on this Earth to live and enjoy everything.
