During our September meeting we listened to a pich for more activities. Colonial Hills has to be a community for all people, young, middle aged and retirees. This can only be realized by co-operation and a glad hand. We are on this Earth to live and enjoy everything. We have many unexpected problems. We need a new roof and insurance rates have risen. We can only meet these costs by having a larger organization and more funds. Also we need more support from volunteers for our activities. We have suggested night care foryour young children, while your enjoy our good meetings. If you like the idea, let us know. We would also like to have a monthly D.J. for the teens. We need cheaper ones for this deal. Please join and sign up. Next month's meeting featurs Tom Andersoon, our State Representative. The program will feature the insurance situation in Florida and should be quite informatve. We are trying to extend our hours for Spaghetti Dinners and Pancake Breakfasts in order to cater to a bigger group of diners. A strong Civic Association will give us a better voice in our government. We need new laws and ordinanaces to keep this community beautiful. we have 176 members; it would be nice to see at least 80 per night. The second Monday of the month, come and make new friends. You will enjoy our company. Hope to meet you all,Earl Scheel, President Powered by Azrul's Jom Comment |
