Illegal use of our dumpster continues to be a problem. We have caught a couple of violators and the sheriff deputies have taken care of these cases, but the problem continues. Tighter security is being considered. Code enforcement also continues to be a problem. The feeling of some of your board members is that the people who should enforce things are too lenient. We plan to contact the head of the department regarding this. Remember we are not a deed restricted community so only county rules apply to Colonial Hills, but the county rules are not being enforced as they should be. We are trying to rectify this concern. Most people keep their homes neat and presentable, but we have some residents that, to put it bluntly, are a disgraceful bunch of slobs that don't seem to care for what their place looks like. A lot of work is going on at the club house to make it a better place. It takes time but there are some improvements taking place. If you have any time to help contact Earl Scheel to find out what needs to be done, and how you can help. Please take note of the many activites going on this month and plan on participating in them.
