			<title>Presidents Message for April 2008</title>
			<link>http://colonialhills.pascofl.us/content/view/84/34/</link>
			<description>
This Civic Association was started to provide a meeting place for members to gather and discuss items relative to a growing neighborhood, and also aid Pasco County in growing into a county we can be proud to be a part of for many years.

Think of when our parents and grandparents came to this country. They built a beautiful country. We can do this again and build an even better society. It&amp;#39;s our destiny, let&amp;#39;s all try and you will enjoy the effort. Please try. We change America to a better place. April 14th we will have a pot luck dinner. Bring a dish for four and your serving ware. All of Colonial Hills is invited.

Earl Scheel,
President

			<title>Presidents Message for February 2008</title>
			<link>http://colonialhills.pascofl.us/content/view/78/34/</link>
			<description>
We have just finished the first months meeting of our club. Many issues were discussed. This club is not disbanding. We need to move forward to help solve some of our County problems. To do this we need volunteer help in our club and new members with new ideas as to how we can accomplish our aims and goals.

This past month our finances were more than adequate, but looking at the attendance at the various affairs, very few club members show up, this is sad.

When you join the club and attend our events everyone in the community...

			<title>Presidents Message for April 2007</title>
			<link>http://colonialhills.pascofl.us/content/view/73/34/</link>
			<description>
This is the Easter season. This is a very good time to remember our part, and hope that the aims of our forefathers survive for furture generations.

The speaker for April will give us a better understanding of Reverse Mortgages, and some facts on investing for the future. Bring a friend with you for the meeting.

We are trying to raise money for needed repairs. So the board is going to have meetings on the 23rd and the 30th of March to consider bank financing. If we are successful in finding funds, we will have to stay open all summer and have activities. This means we need volunteers. This is also tax season, and a good donation to the club will be appreciated and could be tax deductible.

Our pancake breakfast now has regular pancakes, blueberry pancakes, plus sausage gravy and biscuits - your choice, and very delicious. Bring friends.

Earl Scheel,
President

			<description>
Here it is April and we are already on Daylight Savings Time and it&amp;#39;s getting to the time where we say good-bye to our winter people, wishing them a safe trip north and a warm welcome when they return in the Fall. Meanwhile, for all who are here, if you look in this month&amp;#39;s bulletin on the back cover you will see that we are still an active group with a lot to do.

I had an interesting communication a short time ago and it appears here (index.php?option=com_content task=view id=66 Itemid=34) . The writer brings up an issue that we have had before. It puts us in a catch 22 situation. We WANT younger people to...

			<description>
Time flies by. Here it is, March already and hopefully the weather suits everyone better. It has been a strange winter all ov er the country and world for that matter. Considering other parts of the country, we did well. There are some things comming up before our winter snowbirds go north. Everyone look over the calendar and the back page for dates.

Lately, I&amp;#39;ve had a chance to walk through a lot of our subdivision and drive through where I didn&amp;#39;t walk. There are a few things I&amp;#39;ve noticed. First off, most of the homes in Colonial Hills look decent. We hope to see those that don&amp;#39;t, get cleaned up before the code people get involved. This can be a costly experience. Now getting to some other things.

			<description>
We will start off by wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and we hope you had a joyous Christmas as well.

The year 2007 starts with a new vice president and some changes on the board. As for myself, I&amp;#39;m very happy to see Shirley Pike take over as Vice President. With both Earl and myself having some ongoing medical problems it&amp;#39;s good to have a healthy person to take over running the club if necessary. I came to the conclusion I should step down last spring/summer when Earl and I were only 5 rooms apart at Community Hospital. I am also happy to see Don Alexander come on the board.

go see your commissioner Anne Hildebrand or Development Review Manager Cindy

NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD NEIGHBORS TO COME TO THE AID OF THEIR ASSOCIATION!!!!!!

    It&amp;#39;s that time of year, folks. Your 2007 dues are now due and payable. Never has the Association been in greater need of funds than it is right now. You know why you need the Association to survive. Think back and remember the crack houses and dope dens that have been run out of Colonial Hills, the number of rundown homes and yards that have been reported to the Association and cited, the water tower fight, the Wal-Mart fight and the list goes on.
