Many issues were discussed. This club is not disbanding. We need to move forward to help solve some of our County problems. To do this we need volunteer help in our club and new members with new ideas as to how we can accomplish our aims and goals. This past month our finances were more than adequate, but looking at the attendance at the various affairs, very few club members show up, this is sad. This is a very good time to remember our part, and hope that the aims of our forefathers survive for furture generations. The speaker for April will give us a better understanding of Reverse Mortgages, and some facts on investing for the future. Bring a friend with you for the meeting. We are trying to raise money for needed repairs. So the board is going to have meetings on the 23rd and the 30th of March to consider bank financing. If we are successful in finding funds, we will have to stay open all summer and have activities. This means we need volunteers. This is also tax season, and a good donation to the club will be appreciated and could be tax deductible. Our pancake breakfast now has regular pancakes, blueberry pancakes, plus sausage gravy and biscuits - your choice, and very delicious. Bring friends. Here it is, March already and hopefully the weather suits everyone better. It has been a strange winter all ov er the country and world for that matter. Lately, I've had a chance to walk through a lot of our subdivision and drive through where I didn't walk. There are a few things I've noticed.
